Council has prepared a planning proposal to amend the Deniliquin Local Environmental Plan 2013 (LEP 2013). The planning proposal has been prepared to allow development for the purpose of a general industry being manufacturing of precast concrete components permissible with development consent (as an additional permitted use) on Lot 114 DP756310, 227 Augustus Street Deniliquin.
In accordance with section 2.22 and Part 3, Division 3.4 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 the planning proposal will be on exhibition from Wednesday 5 September 2018. All documentation can be inspected at www.edwardriver.nsw.gov.au or during normal business hours at Council’s Customer Service Centre, 180 Cressy Street, Deniliquin.
Submissions regarding the planning proposal will be received until the close of business on Friday 5 October 2018, are to be in writing and addressed to the General Manager, Edward River Council, PO Box 270, Deniliquin NSW 2710. Any person making a submission about this planning proposal is required in accordance with section 10.4 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act to disclose reportable political donations and gifts (if any) within the period of 2 years before the submission is made and ending when the planning proposal is finalised.
The Minister for Planning has provided the authority for Edward River Council to exercise the functions of the Minister under section 3.36 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 that are delegated to Council by the instrument of delegation dated 14 October 2012 in relation to the planning proposal.
