Shelley Jones

Experienced Local Government executive with almost 18 years in the sector, Shelley has a passion for strategic leadership and ‘ground up’ organisational transformation. Shelley has enjoyed a diverse career spanning many facets of Local Government service delivery, including community and economic development, communication and engagement, corporate strategy, governance, risk, WHS, people and culture, customer experience, technology, project management including leading the establishment of a project office and project management framework.

Shelley is degree qualified in business management, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

At Edward River Council, Shelley leads a high performing team in the Corporate Services portfolio who she refers to as the ‘engine room’ of the council organisation, and who provide enabling support to the business of council to deliver effective services to the community of Edward River.
