Reports
Edward River Council is required under the Local Government Act 1993 to prepare an Annual Report which details its achievements in implementing its Operational Plan for that year and delivering on the objectives of its Community Strategic Plan.
The report must be prepared in accordance with the Local Government (General) Regulation and the Integrated Planning & Reporting Guidelines and include a copy of Council's audited financial statements.
2024-2025 Annual Report and Financial Statements
The Annual Report is a key point of accountability between Council and the community. By reflecting on the delivery of the annual Operational Plan, the Annual Report provides an update on how Council is performing in relation to its Delivery Program commitments.
The Annual Report also includes other key statutory reporting information, as well as the annual Financial Statements which report on Council’s financial performance over the reporting year.

Quarterly Budget Reviews
The Quarterly Budget Review Statement (QBRS) is a statutory report prepared in accordance with section 203 of the Local Government (General) Regulation 2005. The QBRS presents a summary of Council’s financial position at the end of each financial year quarter. It is a mechanism whereby councillors and the community are informed of Council’s progress against its current adopted budget.

State of the Region Report
Before a new Community Strategic Plan is developed, a report is prepared that considers the implementation and effectiveness of the last Community Strategic Plan in achieving the community’s goals.
