The Major Projects Program is specifically aimed at funding larger scale priority infrastructure and services projects that deliver long-term economic and social benefits to communities.
Council seeks funding opportunities from State and Federal Government Agencies to undertake many of the Major Projects it undertakes. Funding opportunities usually have requirements to be completed within a given period. To ensure all these projects are delivered on time, we package similar projects together and plan the delivery sequence.
Through our allocated projects, Council is addressing long-standing community priorities and delivering social, sporting and road infrastructure upgrades to meet the needs of our growing community.

Edward River Village is an independent senior living project consisting of 32 home retirement homes in a village setting.
