Edward River Council commits to undertaking all procurement activities in a robust and systematic manner. It will be consistent and aligned with its legal and ethical obligations.

Council will ensure value for money through a balanced, whole-of-life evaluation. Consideration will be given to financial, social, ethical, local economic and environmental factors.

Contract Register

Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) NSW Councils must publicly disclose certain information in a register of contracts. A Contract made with a private sector body worth more than $150,000 must be included on this register. Edward River Council's current Contract Register is available for download here(PDF, 117KB).

Tips for completing tender submissions

To give your submission the best chance of success it is important to:

• complete all the required returnable schedules / tender forms
• include all the requested information in each schedule
• include only information that is relevant to the tender requirements
• include attachments only where requested and necessary
• not include promotional materials
• ensure contact details are correct
• check pricing schedules are calculated correctly and include or exclude GST where applicable
• not include cover letters with exclusions or special conditions
• allow sufficient time to ensure your submission is received prior to the closing time

By accepting a purchase order, or agreeing to supply Goods and/or Services, you agree to uphold the terms and conditions as stated in the Purchase Order Terms and Conditions.

Where there is an existing contract in place, the terms and conditions outlined in that contract will take precedence.
