Mark was appointed Director Infrastructure at Edward River Council in March 2021, after serving the former Deniliquin Council for many years as Director of Infrastructure and other positions. 

As Director Infrastructure, Mark leads a diverse department responsible for providing and maintaining Council’s built infrastructure, including our sealed and unsealed road networks, water and sewer infrastructure, footpaths as well as managing the Edward River region’s open spaces, such as parks, gardens, sporting ovals and recreation reserves.

In addition to managing the Deniliquin Airport and Deniliquin Cemetery, Council’s works depot and fleet; the Infrastructure department provides various road safety, flood response and recovery, and emergency services to Edward River residents.

Mark is a qualified civil engineer with a Master of Business Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Local Government Engineering and Management.
