Oliver McNulty

Commenced: September 2017

Oliver was appointed Director Infrastructure at Edward River Council in September 2017, after holding leadership roles at Swan Hill Rural City Council, as Director Infrastructure, and Campaspe Shire Council at Echuca, as Road Services Manager.

As Director Infrastructure, Oliver leads a diverse department responsible for providing and maintaining Council’s built infrastructure, including our sealed and unsealed road networks, water and sewer infrastructure, footpaths as well as managing the Edward River region’s open spaces, such as parks, gardens, sporting ovals and recreation reserves.

In addition to managing the Deniliquin Airport and Deniliquin Cemetery, Council’s works depot and fleet; the Infrastructure department provides various road safety, flood response and recovery, and emergency services to Edward River residents.

Oliver holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) from Trinity College, Dublin and Diploma in Structural Engineering from Dublin Institute of Technology. He is also a Chartered Structural Engineer and Chartered Civil Engineer.

Before relocating to Australia close to six years ago, Oliver ran his own engineering consultancy in Ireland.
