Fun-Filled School Holiday Program at Edward River Library

Edward River Library is excited to invite local families to take part in its fantastic school holiday program running from Monday 7 July to Saturday 19 July.

With a vibrant mix of creative, tech-savvy and hands-on activities, there is something for every child to enjoy. From Maker Space days and virtual reality adventures to crafty afternoons with velvet art, loom bands, and crochet, the program is designed to keep young minds active and inspired throughout the break.

A new highlight these holidays are the Book Chat sessions where kids can share their favourite reads and learn about other interesting books.

Mayor Ashley Hall shared his enthusiasm for the initiative:

“We are delighted to offer such a diverse range of activities for our community’s families. The Edward River Library team has put together an exceptional program that promises both fun and learning.”

Program Highlights Include:

•Maker Space All Day – Mondays (7 and 14 July)

•Virtual Reality Sessions – Tuesdays (8 and 15 July)

•Scratch and Velvet Art – Wednesday 9 July at 2pm

•Book Chat – Thursdays (10 and 17 July) at 2pm

•Fibre Fun: Crochet Bookmarks and Bracelets – Friday 11 July at 2pm

•Loom Bands – Wednesday 16 July at 2pm

•Friday and Saturday Splat – All-day fun on 12, 18 and 19 July
