Rates

About your Rates

Rates are used to provide essential services and maintain our region's infrastructure.

Pay your Rates/Water

Council supports numerous payment methods for rates, water and debtor accounts. You can also register to receive your rates notices via email.

Apply for a Pensioner Rebate

Under the Local Government Act 1993, eligible pensioners are provided
concessions on their ordinary rates and domestic waste management
services charge.

Rates Harmonisation

The NSW Office of Local Government through the Local Government Act 1993 requires all merged Councils in NSW to establish a new, equitable rating structure and transition to it by 01 July 2021.
Edward River Council is required to create one general rate structure which will result in some changes to individual general rate amounts, either an increase, decrease or no change.

Rates & Land Valuations

Land Valuations are supplied to all NSW local Councils for Rating Purposes
