This April, the Edward River Library is proud to host a special exhibition presented by the Deniliquin Genealogy Society, showcasing a remarkable collection of historical photographs.

The exhibition features images of servicemen and women connected to the Deniliquin district—those who were born, enlisted, worked, or lived in the area at the time of their service. This powerful display offers a unique glimpse into the lives of local individuals who served their country across generations.

Titled Our ANZACs, the collection honours service personnel from a wide range of conflicts, including the Boer War, World War I, World War II, Korea, the Malayan Emergency and Confrontation, Vietnam, Iran Jaya, the Gulf War, Somalia, Timor-Leste, Afghanistan, Iraq, Bougainville, the Solomon Islands, and Border Protection operations.

Visitors are invited to explore this moving tribute throughout April and reflect on the contributions and sacrifices of those with ties to our local community.
