Council is committed to conducting quotes and tenders with fairness and probity in purchasing goods and services in accordance with Section 55 of the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW), the tender provision within the Local Government (General) Regulation 2021 - Part 7- Tendering and in accordance with Council's adopted policies and associated procedures.
Contracts Register
All local governments in New South Wales are required under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) to record and disclose certain information about contracts with private sector bodies. Contracts to be recorded in the register of contracts are those between Council and private sector bodies worth more than $150,000.
